Jodie Comer’s presence is unshakeable. Since she broke out as the loveable sociopath assassin Villanelle in Killing Eve – winning both a BAFTA and a Primetime Emmy – the Scouser has shown herself to be one of her generation’s most unmissable actors. She picked up her second BAFTA for Channel 4’s Covid drama Help, and has starred in films including The Bikeriders, The End We Start From, The Last Duel and Free Guy. On stage, her performance in the West End smash Prima Facie earned Comer both a Laurence Olivier Award and, after a run on Broadway, a Tony. She will reprise her role for one last time on a national tour across the UK and Ireland next year. This summer she will star in one of the most anticipated British sequels of the decade, Danny Boyle’s zombie thriller 28 Years Later. Following this she will star in Kenneth Branagh’s The Last Disturbance of Madeline Hynde and opposite Hugh Jackman in The Death of Robin Hood.
